Unfortunately I wish there's a decanter for outdated frag so you can have it like the original on the year produced! The bottle from The Cosmetics Factory arrived just in time since it has been somewhat summery at least in the day, over this weekend.

Nevertheless it had been nearly 16 years since I last used Aqua Quorum and it was a very refreshing journey back. Some nostril-coating ambroxan lurks in the background, but nowhere near the offensive levels of Dior Sauvage. This refreshing summer scent consists of aromatic lavender and freesia, followed by dynamic grapefruit and geranium. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer.However, it is crucial not to be deceived by comparisons to other widely marketed fresh aquatic fougères from the mid-90s. The fragrance exudes a remarkably natural aroma, accentuated by a distinct haunting note of honeysuckle and lemon. Q. has a light sprinkling of pine needles and precious woods, with the greener notes sparkling through the breezy top accord of lavender, grapefruit, and freesia, and the "blond woods" in the base yielding a transparent cedar note, presaging Quorum Silver, to come eleven years after. For those who don't know PS it's a nice uplifting aromatic 'blue' scent from before blue scents were really a thing. Not sure why its dubbed AQUA since it doesn't feel very aquatic to me especially or it only feels slightly aquatic due to the lavender freshness.

It's neither the most refined, nor sophisticated but it smells wonderful and has been around for a majority of my life and I'm glad it has!
