The other smart pens seem okay, but I don't really like the notebook style of them and I'm unsure how easily/quickly I can get them into a docs page or markdown etc. File management is useful folders, color tags, and auto naming by date, but a feature missing here is iCloud sync, as the files seem to be only local. But the biggest drawback for me is the lack of color options … the writing can only appear in a light-greenish-yellow hue. Scratch paper" of some kind is vital for me tutoring math, but I end up going through a lot of paper obviously, and well I don't need to sell you all on a digital alternative I'm sure. What I ideally want to do is have the CarbonCopy pen synced with the phone, but be able to edit the files on an iPad and Apple Pencil later, but not having the files synced and the pen only able to paired to one device at a time doesn’t make this a streamlined workflow as it should be.
