Bulkhead launching Prowl at Blitzwing is remarkably similar to the " Fastball Special" maneuver from the X-Men comics, in which Colossus uses his super-strength to launch Wolverine at villains.

Gaga said, “I wrote it for her [Spears] a long time ago and she just didn’t use it for her album. It’s fine because I love the song and I get to perform it now.” Additionally, the guest vocalist was originally going to be Spears, but ultimately Gaga made Knowles the featured vocalist instead. There's a general similarity between this episode and the movie Home Alone. Sari quotes Macaulay Culkin's character Kevin (see above), Scrapper acts as dumb as Daniel Stern's character Marv, and Mixmaster has always sounded like Joe Pesci...So begins one of the twistiest mysteries I’ve read, the plotting is simply superb, to the point that telling you anything specific might well ruin the many many moments where you’ll stop briefly to turn things over in your head. The writing as always is spot on immersive, Tim Weaver has that intuitive, creative ability to character build and set the scene so that you sink into it, every moment a pure joy to read. Their new home comes with scribbles in hidden places, like “Dead Girl”, “Murder House”. And slowly their own secrets become harder to hide as someone inside the house watches their every move… Thank you to Netgalley and Thomas & Mercer for the free electronic copy of this novel and for giving me the opportunity to provide an honest review. I feel like the author's tendency to go off piste from the mystery is him attempting to add colour the story, fleshing out the characters and their lives and thoughts and feelings. In my opinion, this is a big weakness of the book because I found almost all of the characters too contrived. Especially Raker.

When Blitzwing leaves the Decepticon base, Megatron gives him one barrel of oil, but when he meets up with the Constructicons, he has two. This brilliantly crafted story was inspired by the century homes of Shaker Heights, OH, and two real murders, and a rumor, plus a vacant home she toured in 2008. You will be Googling! The author also includes some fascinating research at the end of the book and even floor plans. Her writing is some of the BEST. The second single from The Fame Monster, “Telephone” was originally written by Gaga for Britney Spears‘ Circus album, but Spears rejected it. Later, Gaga recorded the song as a collaboration with Beyoncé. Note - I received an advance digital copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for a fair review Bumblebee leaks oil in a manner that is analogous to either blood or bodily waste. The Constructicons find said oil delicious.Loved how everything just slotted together the further you went and I could literally feel a veil metaphorically being lifted from my eyes as this played out. So, just to be straight! I love this author and his books and his storytelling, its unique, perceptive and exciting NO ONE’S HOME is a song about the game Beholder 3, a game where totalitarian state that controls everything and everyone through oppressive laws, total surveillance, and intimidation.

The Autobots transform and roll out, but Optimus stops Sari from following, pointing out that a) the last time she was near those two, they nearly took her head off, and b) a kid isn't going to be a match for a two-story robot. Prime catches up with the rest, and they head towards the pair's last known location, not noticing that Bumblebee's leak is leaving a trail straight to the factory. Sari, meanwhile, is moping over being left home...before realising she's been left home alone! She then proceeds to stuff her face with chocolate, strap herself to a crane and have her own homemade funfair ride, and attempt Prowl's course at full pelt (which goes about as well as the first time). I am a relatively new reader of this author after I requested the previous book in this series without realising it was part of an ongoing series. Immediately creepy and atmospheric, the story opens with the Spielman family, but alternating chapters, share the troubled history of this home, through the stories of all four of the families unfortunate enough to have lived here prior. It’s not at all hard to follow. You are even provided a blueprint of the home... Picture a stately, century old home in a peaceful affluent suburb. It may be in pretty bad condition, but the price is a steal and it’s nothing a bit of renovating can’t fix. But the house has a history. From its first owners to the last, no one has escaped it unharmed. People have died here, others have gone mad. There are terrible personal tragedies connected to it, and the mysterious graffiti on the walls tells the story of lives unravelling. Locals agree that the place is simply bad. However, the new owners who have bought it for a bargain don’t know yet what they are letting themselves in for. It’s not long until the old house lets them know that it doesn’t want them there ....

Two and a half years later, it remains a mystery. Desperate for answers, the families of the missing turn to investigator David Raker. Your realtor takes you into a home...it has lovely things written on the walls like Murder House, Dead Girl...you get the picture...drug paraphernalia spread about. Sure we will take it since the price is right. Whatttt? That is exactly what The Spielman's did. This was also deeply moving and rather than just being told a story the author has managed here to transport the reader right into the tapestry of the story.
